About
Meet Ms. Fairless
Welcome to third grade at Logan Elementary School! My name is Emily Fairless and I will be your son/daughter’s teacher this year. I am so excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year.
I would love for you to get to know me and I hope that I will have plenty of opportunities to get to know your family in return. I student taught at Logan, and was hired almost immediately after to long term substitute for half a year in fifth grade. It was during that time that I developed great relationships with the community of people at Logan. I was welcomed back in third grade last year. I am looking forward to teaching my second year in 3rd grade at Logan!
I grew up in Troy, Michigan and when I was 13, I moved to Wisconsin for two short years. After that, my family and I found ourselves back in our home state of Michigan. I now reside in Saline, Michigan and graduated from Saline High School. I continued my education and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Reading and minor in Science.
